$44 Dollar of PBR?

pbr1844-1Yep, you read that right.  $44 dollars for PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon).  PBR is known in America as one of the cheapest beers on the market coming in at about $4-6 dollars a 6-pack depending on your location.  But in China it’s a whole different story.

Now before you can concoct some get rich scheme that involves shipping mass amounts of PBR to China, let me give you the details.  PBR 1844 is made from German caramel malts and is aged in uncharred American whiskey barrels and as you can see by the pic included it comes in a much fancier bottle.  The ale was created to compete with higher end wines and brandies. Before you get your hopes up on a $44 dollar bottle PBR, I also must let you know this is sold exclusively in China. It also carries a score of 80 on the Beeradvocate web site

Thank you for reading and while your here, kick back and take a look at some of my other articles and photographs.
